So here we are again, another year older but its still the same old BlueJays. Finishing 4th in the A.L. east seems to be destined for the Jays for years to come. There are a few bright sides to this year, other than the consistency of Roy Halladay, we saw the amazing come back of our 2nd baseman Aaron Hill, and the birth of Adam Lind. The only thing I'm looking forward to in the 2010 season is the uprising of Randy Ruiz and perhaps even Travis Snider.
This year we saw the departure of our gold glove hero Scott Rolen and a former All-Star named Alex Rios for basically no one. How much worse can it get for the jays? Well, we could see one of the best arms traded away during the off-season. Whether Roy Halladay is traded in January or during the trade deadline, I don’t see the Doc in a Jay’s uniform next year at this time. Just as the Raptors got Brian Colangelo and the Leafs got Brian Burke, the Jays need a G.M. who is willing and able to make trades.
